Singapore bunker premiums, the difference between cargo and delivered prices, edged up on Wednesday, despite sliding cargo values, as suppliers started cautiously offering into the spot market.
The Singapore bunker 380-centistoke (cst) premium settled at $10 a tonne, up 55 cents from Tuesday's close.
Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $292-$294 a tonne, down $3 from Tuesday's settlement.
Prices for 180-cst was down $3 a tonne, at $300-$302.
The regional supply situation was seen to be improving, with more suppliers seen offering deliveries 3-7 days out.
However, supply remains tight in Japan, and is likely to stay that way through the end of the month.
