ISE turns bearish

Bearish trend was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE network index was down by 92.62 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 12,760.07 to 12,667.45 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 560,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 368,600 shares. The horizon of trade contracted from 157 companies to 148 stocks. Majority of stocks (99) landed in negative territory, 49 showed plus signs whereas zero companies remained pegged to their previous levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 322,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 162600 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 95,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 91,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was44,400.
