By-elections of 6 seats held peacefully

Peaceful polling for by-elections was reported from all four National Assembly and two provincial assembly constituencies in Punjab on Saturday.
Talking with APP by telephone from Bhulwal, Election Commission secretary Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad said Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar along with Punjab Election Commissioner Justice Rab Nawaz Durrani visited polling booths in NA-132 Sheikhupura-II, NA 64 Sargodha-I and PP-33 Sargodha-IV and expressed satisfaction over arrangements made for free, fair and peaceful by-elections. Polling started at 8am and continued without any break till 5pm.
Polling for by-elections was held in constituencies NA-64 Sargodha-I, NA-132 Sheikhupura-II, NA-180 Muzaffargarh-V, NA-189 Bahawalnagar-II, PP-33 Sargodha-IV and PP-117 Mandi Bahauddin-II. Twenty-three candidates have been in run for by-election in 6 constituencies.
