TCP to get over 0.307 million tons urea by early January

More than 307,000 tons imported urea would be available with Trading Corporation of Pakistan by the first week of January 2006. TCP sources on Tuesday said that two vessels--'Zhong Shan Men' and 'Great marry'--carrying 22,500 tons urea arrived at Karachi Port on December 14 and 16, respectively. Both vessels are at present discharging cargo.
A vessel, carrying 38,500 ton urea completed unloading on December 14 and sailed back. Another vessel, carrying 42,216 ton urea had arrived at outer anchorage on December 12 and is waiting for berth at Karachi port. She is expected to get berth within two or three days. A total 132,037.454 tons urea has already arrived at Karachi.
Three other vessels, carrying together 101,517.080 tons urea, are expected to arrive within the next ten days ie, by December 31. Yet another 74,000 tons urea would arrive during the first week of January 2006, sources added.
