Notorious gang busted

Rawalpindi police have busted a gang of notorious outlaws including two foreign nationals wanted in various cases of smuggling of fake American currency and recovered from their possession huge amount of fake foreign currency, a car, huge cache of arms and ammunition.
"Police received information regarding this gang and after a prompt action on this information, we succeeded in capturing these notorious gangsters", said District Police Officer (DPO) Rawalpindi Syed Saud Aziz while addressing a press conference here on Friday.
DPO said that on tip of a special team was formed under SP City Inayat Farooqi. The squad after launching a massive move arrested two local men named Asad Alam and Sohail Aurangzeb. During the investigation the two local outlaws told police about their two Nigerian partners who were involved in making and trafficking of fake US dollars, he added.
He said that police party raided a house and arrested two Nigerians, Jude Anoribe and Prince Paulc Arinze. "We recovered a new model Toyota Corolla car, 230,000 fake US dollars, 7 riffles, 18 long magazines, 3 round magazines, 100 chargers, 7 bundolas and 6,218 rounds from them", he added.
DPO told the newsmen that on the indication of these outlaws, two another men Shahjahan and Rafiq, who supplied arms and ammunition to the gang were also apprehended and further investigation was underway.
