Sindh Madressah Board elects office-bearers

Sindh Madressah Board in its meeting held on 17 December 2005 while conducting the other business elected following office-bearers for the year 2006, who are prominent figures of Sindh.
Nisar Hassanally Effendi, President, Madam Mahtab Akbar Rashdi, Vice President, Hazoor Bux Azad Jatoi, Honorary Secretary, Ashfaque Ahmed Memon, Honorary Treasurer, Noman Ahmed Said, Honorary Joint Secretary.
Sindh Madressah Board, a historical institution was founded by Khan Bahadur Hassanally Effendi Bey Majidi in the year 1885 and nurtured and promoted by his successors. This body has had an honour of establishing 13 educational institutions in Karachi, which includes schools and colleges for both boys and girls. SMB Quaid-e-Azam Public School established in the year 1988 is latest addition in the list of monumental works undertaken by Sindh Madressah Board since 1885. The aim of this body is to promote education and learning in Sindh.-PR
