San Jose University, SSUET sign LoI

San Jose State University in San Jose, California, USA, and Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) Pakistan have signed the Letter of Intent (LoI) for establishing long-term mutually beneficial association.
Under LoI, both agreed to exercise their best efforts to develop co-operation in various fields.
According to SSUET, the LoI was in line with the development of friendly international co-operation in accordance with our mutual interests in developing programs of academic and scholarly exchanges and for the purpose of establishing a long-term mutually beneficial association
The two universities, as per LoI, will establish ties of friendship and co-operation, promote mutual understanding, academic collaboration, cultural and personnel exchanges, work towards more formal, complex and binding agreements.
Under LoI, both committed to work together to develop specific agreements providing logical and management details appropriate to the successful co-operation for various programs.
According to SSUET sources here, these agreements will fulfil the spirit and purpose of LoI and both agreed to review LoI after three years to evaluate progress and improve the quality of the exchange.
It is expected that at the time of the review, some specific agreements will have been reached. If not, this LoI shall be withdrawn.
