Lufthansa plans to hire 2,400 new employees next year, the German airline said on Thursday. The company has over 90,000 employees.
The new recruits would include 1,420 flight attendants, 220 check-in staff and 180 pilots, a Lufthansa spokesman said, confirming a report due to be published in the Friday edition of German daily Bild. The rest would be trainees and university graduates.
