Sherpao lauds Frontier Constabulary men

Frontier Constabulary (FC) has always performed its duties with professional commitment and dedication in all tasks assigned to them, Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan said here on Thursday.
"FC has performed a tremendous job in the country while controlling law and order situation, smuggling, terrorism and cross-border infiltration," he said while addressing the annual passing-out parade of FC at Swat.
The minister said the government had increased the compensation amount to be paid to families of personnel, who die in the line of duty from 0.3 million to 0.5 million rupees.
He said that he would request the government to allocate more budget to FC for further improvement of training courses, facilities, equipment and transport and for computerisation of their records.
