The Standing Committee on Planning and Development of the National Assembly met on Saturday and discussed the first and second agriculture loan programmes sponsored by the Asian Development Bank and the zone-wise development plan of the federal capital by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (Minfal) briefed the Committee which met under the chairmanship of MNA Sardar Bahadur Ahmed Khan Sihar about the amount, program components and objective of the loan.
The Committee recommended improvement in the agricultural sector for the benefit of farmers and growers, and took serious notice on the illegal construction in the Zone-IV of Islamabad Capital Territory.
It directed that there should be no advertisement of the housing schemes without prior issuance of NOC by the CDA.
