Ongoing cold winter spell may continue till mid March, Chief Meteorologist Anjum Bari said on Tuesday. Talking to PTV, he said this winter would be severe and it was predicted by the department two months earlier. "We expect that this cold winter spell may continue till the second week of the March," he added.
To a question about fog, he said, all the riverain areas and the areas where the rainfall had occurred, particularly the north of Punjab would be affected by the fog in the next few days. So people should be careful in those areas, he added.
