The Sindh Abadgar Board (SAB) has strongly condemned the negative tactics adopted by sugar mills owners by illegally zoning of sugarcane growing areas to keep the cane growers at their mercy.

He termed it as highhandedness of the mills owner, and warned that in future such vandalism would not be tolerated.
Majeed said the officials concerned have been informed about the incident, and demanded that such incidents should be stopped immediately otherwise it would create law and order situation.
He also appealed to the millers to desist from such negative tactics as it would not only create problems for them but would also destroy the crop.
He said that cane growers should be free to sell their produce to any cane-crushing unit in the province. He said such tactics would force the cane growers to shift to other crops.
