Mercury drops in Quetta to -13 degree Celsius

Provincial capital is still in the grip of severe cold as the minimum temperature dropped to -13 degree Celsius causing bursting of water pipelines in most parts of the city. The maximum temperature was recorded as 3 degree Celsius.
According to Met office sources here on Tuesday, the chilly weather is likely to persist in the city during next 24 hours with a little improvement in minimum temperature.
The maximum temperature is likely to remain between 3 to 5 degree Celsius and the minimum between -12 to -10 degree Celsius.
The highest maximum temperature in Balochistan was recorded as 20 degree Celsius in Lasbella on Tuesday while the lowest minimum temperature as -15 degree Celsius at Kalat.
