Pertamina, which issued the tender on behalf of the Tuban-based TPPI condensate splitter, bought a 650,000 barrel cargo of NWS condensate from BP for Dec. 3-4 delivery at a premium slightly higher than $1 to dated Brent on a delivered basis.
The Indonesian oil firm did not buy any cargoes for its Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 24-25 delivery windows and has issued a second tender for those dates which will close on Oct. 24.
Vietnamese state-marketer PV Oil awarded its December Chim Sao crude sell tender to Unipec and Japanese refiner Taiyo at premiums between $2.50-3.00 a barrel to dated Brent. Premiums for November-loading Chim Sao cargoes traded as high as slightly above $3 a barrel last month.
The Vietnamese oil firm also sold a December-loading Thang Long cargo to South Korean refiner SK at $2.50 a barrel above dated Brent, significantly higher than the 20-30 cents premium the refiner paid for an October-loading cargo in August. No November-loading Thang Long cargoes were offered last month.
PV Oil is offering 300,000 barrel cargoes of Bunga Orkid and Bunga Kekwa crude in separate tenders that close on Oct. 27. The Bunga Orkid cargo will load between Dec. 1-7 while the Bunga Kekwa cargo is scheduled for Dec. 10-16 loading.
On the Malaysian crude market, Petroleum Brunei closed its Kimanis sell tender on Friday. Bids for the 600,000-barrel Dec. 5-9 cargo will be valid until Oct. 25.
