400 percent rise in domicile fee

The Sindh Government fee for applying the domicile certificate has been increased from rupees 40 to rupees 160, which is 400 per cent increase, reports UPP correspondent.
This huge increase has hurt most the parents of students who have to pay for the domicile certificate fees for the application of their children in schools and colleges.
Similarly, for the submission of government job applications, the domicile certificate is necessary and this increase is going to hurt the unemployed educated seeking domicile certificates for applying in government jobs.
Parents as also students and prospective applicants for government jobs have appealed to the Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ibad Khan and the Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim to order the withdrawal of this uncalled for increase by 400 per cent in the grant of domicile certificate to the applicants, who in most cases are young people.
