Grain exports from the French port of Rouen totalled 440,594 tonnes in February, comprising 337,029 tonnes of wheat and 103,565 tonnes of barley, port officials said on Tuesday.
That compared with total grain exports of 381,000 tonnes in the same month last year, comprising 329,000 tonnes of wheat and 52,000 tonnes of barley.
Officials said four vessels were in the port on Tuesday, loading 90,000 tonnes of wheat for Algeria, Spain, Morocco and West Africa.
Another vessel was expected by Thursday to load 35,000 tonnes of wheat for an unspecified destination.
