US Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman will be visiting Pakistan on March 13 to initiate the process of ''Enhanced Energy Co-operation'' that Pakistan and the United States agreed to commence as part of the decisions taken during President George W Bush''s visit to Pakistan.
"During Secretary Bodman''s visit, there will be a wide-ranging exchange of views on Pakistan''s energy needs and co-operation with the United States in this fields," the Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement.
The Pakistan side will be led by Kasuri and would include Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission; Chairman of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, Foreign Affairs, Petroleum, and Water and Power Secretaries and Alternative Energy Development Board Chairman. The US Energy Secretary will also call on the Prime Minister.
