The Election Commission on Saturday appointed Election Tribunals for the trial and disposal of election petitions relating to the Senate elections held on March six and 10.
The Lahore High Court Judge Justice Fazal-e-Miran Chohan will act as election tribunal for Punjab province and the Federal Capital with immediate effect.
Justice Ijazul Hassan Khan, Judge Peshawar High Court will act as election tribunal for NWFP and Fata while Justice Syed Sajjad Ali Shah will act as election tribunal for Sindh. Justice Akhtar Zaman will act as election tribunal for Balochistan.
