Pakistan Embassy's Counsellor Dr Imtiaz A Kazi launched an Urdu language novel, Durr-e-Iffat, at a function organised by Adab Dost, a literary organisation of expat Pakistanis, at Al Maha Club in Mesaieed recently.
The book was written by Syed Noor Hussain Shah Qazmi, a former employee of Qatar Fertiliser Company (Qafco). Durr-e-Iffat is his 15th novel and is based on the social issues evolved in the aftermath of the deadly earthquake. Qazmi hails from a town Pind Dadan Khan and stays in Qatar for over three decades.
