The Agricultural Implements Manufacturers Association, Daska, has urged the government to immediately impose ban on the imports of laser system to be used in scrapers for boosting the national farm machinery manufacturing industry of the country.
Talking to the newsmen here on Wednesday, Daska Agricultural Implements Manufacturers Association President Mirza Munawar Hussain said that the government had been providing imported laser scrapers to the farmers and growers on subsidised rates of Rs 160, 000 per laser scraper.
