The chief justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) while dismissing civil judges Chaudhry Muhammad Hanif, Ali Jaffar Sheikh and Yahua Kulachi from service, issued show cause notices for dismissal from service to three officials S M Waqar-ul-Hassan Bokhari, Iqtidar-ul-Hassan Bokhari and Malik Riaz Ahmad Khokhar.
The chief justice also ordered for compulsory retirement of district and sessions judge Rao Shafey Ali Khan and initiation of disciplinary proceedings against district and session's judge and civil judges Mehboob Elahi Sheikh, Zia Ullah Khan, Amer Zia and Chaudhry Shabbir Hussain.
The chief justice also imposed minor penalty of stoppage of three annual increments of civil judge Muhammad Tariq Ayub. He has also ordered to drop disciplinary proceedings against additional district and sessions judge Mahmood-ul-Hussain and civil judges Muhammad Younis Aziz, Muhammad Tariq, Sarwat Mumtaz Syeda and Hamid Hussain.
The chief justice also confirmed 14 additional district and sessions' judges namely Tahir Sabir, Wajahat Hussain Khan, Imtiaz Hussain, Raja Pervaiz Akhtar, Syed Auon Muhammad Rizvi, Mushtaq Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad, Pervez Ismail, Sajjad Hussain, Sajjad Ahmad, Rai Muhammad Ayub Khan, Anwar Ahmad Khan and Nussarat Ali Naseem.
