Film star Muhammad Ali was laid to rest at a local graveyard on Tuesday, leaving thousands of his fans in deep sorrows and sweet memories. His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at the Liberty Park near his house. A large number of people hailing from different walks of life attended his funeral.
A large number of his fans including men, women, children, young boys and girls, show biz personalities and others thronged his house before the funeral prayer to have last glimpse of their hero.
Shaukat Ali, Mehdi Hassan, Mustafa Qureshi, Nadeem, Saleem Sheikh, Omer Sharif, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Saood, Tariq Aziz, Shoaib Hashmi, Ajab Gull, Habib, Ismael Tara, Afzal Khan, Yousaf Khan, Anwar Ali, Aman Ullah, Sana, Resham, Shahida Mini, Zil-e- Huma, Bahar Begum, Nisho and a large number of film, TV and stage artistes and workers were also present there.
Among political figures, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Chaudhry Akthar Rasool, Jehangir Badr, Pervez Malik, Abdul Aleem Khan, participated in the funeral.
Film star, Nadeem told Business Recorder that late Muhammad Ali was full of milk of human kindness. His death is irreparable loss for the film industry and his services are unforgettable. Being kind hearted late was matchless among others.
