The Korea Feed Association's regional members in Pusan have bought 55,000 tonnes of optional origin corn for feed production from Cargill, traders said on Wednesday.
The purchase was made in private negotiations late on Tuesday at $132.90 a tonne for US or South American corn and $125.90 a tonne for Chinese corn.
The seller has the option of deciding the origin. Arrival was set for June 25 to the south-eastern ports of Pusan and Ulnas, they said. The price excluded a charge of $1 a tonne for delivery to the second port.
