Canadian government will provide a further aid of 1 million dollar, to be spent on the rehabilitation plan in the quake-hit areas. Ontario's Provincial Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Mike Cole said further one million dollars' aid was approved in the new budget of the province, Voice of America (VoA) reported.
He said Canadian Relief Commissioner has prepared a plan on the proposals of various NGOs. The minister said rehabilitation process has started and Canada would actively participate in it, adding Canadian High Commissioner in Islamabad was in touch with the officials of Pakistan government in this regard.
Canada had given 68 million dollar for quake hit areas of Pakistan, 67 million dollar were given by the federal government while one million dollar were donated by the Ontario's provincial government.
