Pakistan Muslim League Secretary General and Chairman Senate Foreign Relations Committee Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed will lead a PML delegation to China from Monday. He will be visiting China on the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The visit is aimed at strengthening people-to-people contacts and giving further boost to the existing goodwill between the two strategic partners and friends.
The CPC sources told newsmen that they were looking forward to receive the Pakistan in delegation to discuss new areas of bilateral co-operation.
The ruling parties of the two countries could contribute to further consolidating the existing bonds of friendship and meeting the aspirations of their people.
The CPC led by President Hu Jintao attached great importance to China's decades old traditional alliance with Pakistan, the sources added.
During its stay in Beijing, the delegation is scheduled to hold talks with the leaders of CPC and the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference. The delegation will also visit Shanghai and Urumqi.
