Pakistan with one gold, three silver and one bronze finished the Commonwealth Games by taking overall 16th place in the competition of 71 countries.
Top of the table is host Australia followed by England and Canada where as India is at the fourth place. Above Pakistan the other countries were, South Africa, Scotland, Jamaica, Malaysia, New Zealand, Kenya, Singapore, Nigeria, Wales, Cyprus, Ghana and Uganada (joint 15th place),
Pakistan's Shuajuddin Malik earned the only gold in the men's 85 kgs of weightlifting, boxer Meharullah Lassi took a silver, Irshad Ali claimed a similar medal in shooting with Muhammad Irfan winning a bronze in weightlifting.
