One killed, 15 hurt in Peshawar blast

One person was killed and 15 were injured when a bomb planted on a motor-cycle exploded in front of Haroon Mansion in the busy near Soekarno Square, Khyber Bazaar, on Tuesday. The explosion was so powerful that the windowpanes of the nearby buildings and parked vehicles were also broken.
The dead was identified as Mohammad Sher son of Jalander Khan, resident of Mardan, a police constable who had gone to Khyber Bazaar in connection with some domestic work. The injured were rushed to the nearby Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Daud son of Mohammad Omar, resident of Hassan Garhi, Sikandar son of Amirullah, resident of Landi Arbab, Mohammad Asif son of Mohammad Saddiq, resident of Hassan Garhi, Sher son of Khaista Gul resident of Faqirabad, Wahid, Javid Massih son of Pal Massih, RA Bazaar, Peshawar Cantt, Mohammad Daud son of Jalaluddin, resident of Sikandarpura, Muslim Khan son of Fazal Subhan resident of Charsadda, Sikandar son of Azam, resident of Shabqadar, Abdul Latif son of Lahore Khan and Mohammad Bilal son of Mohammad Saeed, resident of Mazaffargarh, Punjab, and Shehryar son of Mian Badshah, resident of Kota, Swat.
