The New York Board of Trade's active cocoa contract for May delivery gained $22 to settle at $1,509 a tonne, its loftiest finish since March 17, after trading from $1,491 to $1,513. NYBOT's July cocoa advanced $22 to end at $1,533 a tonne and longer-dated positions climbed $22 to $23.
