A high-level Chinese delegation headed by Director General, Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation Jiang Su Province, Zahang Lei called on Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Friday.
The chief minister Punjab talking of brotherly relations between two countries said practical shape would be given to various projects of mutual co-operation between Chinese province and Punjab in the field of agriculture, textile, agricultural research and other sectors. He stressed the need for exchange of delegations between the two provinces on the occasion.
Zhang Lei in the meeting said a highly favourable investment climate exists in Punjab and the delegation was exploring that. In highlighting various aspects of culture and economy of Jiang Su, he said that a three-day programme of celebrations would be held in the City.
