The government has launched 'TB Dots' Programme to eradicate the deadly but curable disease in the province, said the programme co-ordinator Dr Mohammad Akhtar here on Saturday.
Dr Akhtar, earlier arranged a walk in this regard on the occasion of Word TB Day.
The walk aimed at emancipating the masses about the necessity of anti-tuberculosis measure. He said the TB patients would be provided free treatment under TB Dots programme.
The government is spending millions of rupees on free treatment under this programme, he added.
