Meezan Bank initiates training for new recruits

Meezan Bank has initiated a graduate training and orientation programme for its newly recruited team at the Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP).
Meezan Bank is the largest dedicated Islamic bank in Pakistan and has the honour of having world-renowned Shariah scholars and Islamic banking practitioners working at the bank. Meezan Bank has also recently won the award of "Best Provider of Islamic Financial Services" for Pakistan.
As the pioneer Islamic bank, Meezan Bank has always provided support in promoting Riba-Free banking awareness. The bank once again continues to promote this endeavour by institutionalising a formal training programme for all new recruited employees of Meezan Bank. A formal inauguration ceremony was held for the first orientation programme, attended by Irfan Siddiqui, CEO & President of Meezan Bank, Saleem Umer, CEO of IBP and other senior members of both organisations.
Meezan Bank's mission is to provide its customers dedicated and pure Islamic banking facilities, with 30 real time online branches in all major cities of the country. These include Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Kasur, Rawalpindi and Peshawar. In addition, the bank will very soon open its doors in D.G.
