All the preparations are in full swing to celebrate Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (SAW) with religious fervour across the country on Tuesday. Two processions were taken out in the Multan city which were attended by thousands of youths, Ulema and students regarding the preparation for the day.
One-day Seerat Conference is being organised on this event here on April 11.
Prominent Ulema and scholars will attend the conference and present their views on Seerat of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). District government has organised competition of "Azan, Naat" Qir'at" among the 15 to 21 years old youths.
Prize distribution ceremony will also take place in the concluding session of the competition.
Different television channels will organise special 'Naatia Mushaira' and a quiz programmes on the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The important government and private buildings, mosques and streets are being decorated with lights, green flags, colourful buntings and banners. Sabeels have also established in the city.
The administration of Multan city is making elaborate security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident on the occasion, and police and other security agencies will also be present on key points to maintain law and order.
