Ejaz Rahi dies

Eminent writer, research scholar, poet, trade union leader and former general manager, PIA Cargo, Dr Ejaz Rahi died here on Monday. He was 64. His funeral prayers were offered at Masjid Husnain Kareemain, I-10 Markaz after Namaz-e-Isha. He is survived by a widow, four sons and a daughter.
Noted writers Tahir Parwa, Professor Dr Rashid Amjad, Professor Dr Touseef Tabassam, Professor Dr Ehsan Akbar, Iftikhar Airf, Kishwar Naheed, Haleem Qureshi and others have condoled the sudden demise of Dr Rahi and prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in peace and give courage and fortitude to members of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity and patience.
