Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan said on Monday that an integrated programme under the Ulema Council was being prepared to seek guidance from the practical aspects of life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to develop and transform the society in accordance to his message.
A number of meetings have already been held for setting up Sindh Ulema Council that would prove a milestone, he said in a message on the occasion of Eid Milad-u-Nabi (peace be upon him).
The proposed Ulema Council would focus on seeking guidance from the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) being an ideal for all mankind of the world, he added.
Besides stressing on offering prayers and strictly following the beliefs, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provided practical guidelines to Muslim Ummah in every sector of life, Governor Ibad said, adding that it was imperative to benefit from such guidelines and turn the society into an exemplary one.
