Minister denies siege of Mengal's house

Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqi, has denied siege of the house of Baloch leader Akhtar Mengal and said any MNA or MPA or any visitor can meet him without any obstruction.
He stated this while replying to a question at his press conference held in connection with the arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi on 12th of Rabiul Awwal here on Monday.
The CCPO Karachi Niaz Ahmed Siddiqi, also present on the occasion told newsmen that four people have been arrested from the residence of Akhtar Mengal on the basis of a FIR registered.
However, when asked whether Mengal will also be arrested, the CCPO said that investigation is underway and there has been no other arrest except for the four already made.
To a question, the Home Minister explained that there is police deployment everywhere in the city for crime control and so was the deployment in the area also where Akhtar Mengal's house is situated.
The Home Minister also denied that water supply to the house and electricity have been cut off. Rauf Siddiqi said that he himself spoke to Mengal and told him that any MNA, MPA or other visitors can see him without any obstruction.
