Hearing put off in PML-N leaders' case

A special court for suppression of terrorist activities on Saturday adjourned till April 25, the proceedings in a case against PML-N MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique and PML-N Punjab Secretary Zaeem Qadri.
The court put off the proceedings when the prosecution failed to complete challans of the case against them.
The accused were arrested by the police on the charge of provoking the people for holding violent protest on February 14 at the Mall Road.
Moreover, another special court adjourned till April 22, the proceedings in bail application of Maulana Sarfraz Naeemi, Chief Executive Jamia-e-Naeemia and Engineer Saleem Ullah Chairman Jamiat Ulem-e-Islam of his own section, as special prosecutor was busy in other cases.
The applicants were arrested by the police on February 14, on the charge of their involvement in violent protest in the city. Engineer Saleem was arrested from the Mall Road during a procession.
