A group of 16 research fellows and four academic staff members of the National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh actively participated in 6th international conference on 'Quality of Life and Chemical Sciences' at Bahauddin Zakaria University, Multan.
They presented at the moot a total member of 20 regular research papers. Professor Dr Tasneem G Kazi presented a plenary lecture on 'Deficiency and Efficiency of Metals in Diabetes' which was largely attended.
Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakaria University and organisers very much appreciated the lecture and presented a shield to Professor Tasneem Kazi in recognition to the valuable academic contribution. The lecture by Tasneem G Kazi was awarded as second best lecture of the conference.
Professor Dr Mohammad Iqbal Bhanger, Director of the Center, also presented a lecture titled 'Mobilisation of Polymeric Material for the Extraction of Metal Ions.' Iqbal Bhanger later left with the delegate of Pakistan Science Foundation to attend and present lecture on 'Solid Phase Adsorption of Metal Ions' at the Pak-China biannual workshop on chemical sciences being held from April-17 to 19.
