The 2nd specialised training for Project Directors on "Sustainable Project Cycle Management", as part of series of capacity building training course on international training arrangements under Public Sector Capacity Building Project started here on Monday.
The two week training course has been organised in collaboration with the University of Manchester, United Kingdom while the group of participants consisted of experienced government officials from different ministries, divisions and autonomous bodies.
Additional Secretary, Planning and Development Division Ehtesham Khan inaugurated the course. The two week training course has been divided into two parts. The first week covers project preparation and appraisal issues while in the second week project implementation, monitoring and evaluation issues will be discussed.
The course has been designed to refresh the participants with the concepts and tools of the project implementation and management and to enable the participants in discussing their project specific problems and evolving strategies for sorting them out.
