Wheat buying in Sialkot, Narowal to start in two days

All necessary arrangements have been finalised for the purchase of wheat in Sialkot and Narowal districts. The wheat purchase would be started within two days in both the districts.
The official sources told Business Recorder here on Wednesday that as many as 55,000 metric tonnes of wheat would be purchased from the wheat growers in Sialkot and Narowal districts.
The wheat purchase centres had been set up at Saidpur, Daska, KBF Chand, Baddomalhhi, Shakargrah, Sialkot, Sambrial, Chawinda, Siranwali, Pasrur and Narowal areas for the convenience of wheat sellers of Sialkot and Narowal districts.
The wheat would be purchased at Rs 415 per 40 kilograms from the wheat growers and the Punjab Food Department had deputed necessary staff at all purchase centres for extending guidance and assistance to the wheat growers in both the districts.
