Lucky Tex was established in 1993 by our Company Chairman Mr Ahmed Tabba. Under a joint venture with a foreign firm a Stitching unit was made operational in 1995, and then in 1997 a site was bought for a complete in-house production facility from weaving in 1997 to self power generation in 2000 and a processing division in 2003.
As one of the leading textile producer in Pakistan Lucky Tex is not only providing products for the customers but also work for environmental management to meet the needs and aspiration of people. We believe in high quality and environmental friendly products, with timely delivery at competitive rates, while being a responsible and environmental friendly organisation.
The Environmental Report-05 of Lucky Tex covers key activities performed during the period. This report will give readers an understanding of the progress that Lucky Tex has made in its commitments towards environmental sustainability; the leading results of those activities are efforts for reduction in effluents load, working for ISO 14001:2004 certification, implementation of standard operational procedure for Personal Protective equipments, Chemicals handling transportation and storage, spill management and solid waste management, and aiming to have compliance with National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS).
We believe in energy conservation ie reducing use of natural resources such as energy and water consumption and waste in the production area; and exploring opportunities for reuse and recycling. These activities not only benefit Environmental improvement but also contribute to improving productivity and reducing costs.
We believe that improvement in any process is possible if we can cater in three 'M's - "Man, Machine and Material" more effectively. Focusing on this philosophy and through leadership of our dynamic management, Lucky Tex has started its journey towards improvement.

We are committed toward implementing a structured, documented approach, respect for local and international laws and legislation, following Best Practices that exist in the world, Continuous adherence to performance measures, no tolerance on Safety standards and Investing in the future - both training and technology.
