Tehsil municipal administration staff raided a Valima party at Chak 293/EB and filed a case after finding bridegroom violating the Marriage Ordinance on Sunday.
On a telephonic tip-off that the bridegroom, Muhammad Amin, a medical practitioner, is violating the ordinance and serving many food items to more than 300 guests at the party, TMO Sardar Naseer Ahmad sent a raiding team headed by Sanitary Inspector Muhammad Afzal who found the allegation true.
The case will be filed before Burewala Special Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Ramazan Miana for further hearing. Meanwhile, the special judicial magistrate started the hearing of the marriage ordinance violation case of District Naib Nazim Muhammad Yousaf Kasilia on Monday and recorded the evidences.
