Lahore sizzles at 42ºC

Provincial metropolis witnessed the hottest day on Wednesday, as the temperature surged to 42 Celsius degrees. According to meteorological official, the city had to face a long spell of hot and dry weather for the last few days where the temperature was in the 40s; and this weather would continue for the coming days as well.
On Wednesday, the hottest city of Pakistan was Sargodha, Larkana and Jacobabad where the mercury touched 43.5 Celsius degrees.
