Eli Lilly launches helpline for diabetics

Eli Lilly Pakistan (Pvt) Limited on Saturday launched Lilly Answer Helpline to create awareness about the disease of diabetes and provide free of cost dial in service to the diabetic patients.
While addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Dr Sarwat Faisal, Medical Manager of Eli Lilly Pakistan highlighted the salient features of the helpline and said that any person can talk to qualified doctors who can speak multiple languages attending each and every call.
This service is being pioneered by Eli Lilly and Company, which has a strong heritage of 129 years. The company was set up on May 10, 1876 and was the first company to commercially produce insulin for the treatment of diabetes. It is also the first company to develop human insulin through DNA technology, she added.
