Most markets shut for Labour Day in Asia and Europe

The financial and stock markets both in Asia and Europe were closed on Monday to mark Labour Day. UK markets are also closed for a holiday. Following are markets, which remain closed on Monday. The trading will resume on Tuesday:
The yuan at 8.0140 versus the dollar on Friday, April 28, the last trading day ahead of the holiday.
The won rose 0.16 percent to 943.4 per dollar on Friday, taking its gain this year to 7.2 percent. The yield on the benchmark five-year treasury bond fell eight basis points on Friday to close at 4.98 percent.
