The 17th meeting of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Quality Control Board presided by the Chief Commissioner Khalid Pervez held here on Friday. The Quality Control Board discussed 10 violation cases of Drug Act 1976 and directed the Drug Inspector to submit challans in Drug Court against those violators.
The Quality Control Board directed Secretary Quality Control /Drug Inspector Islamabad Sardar Shabbir Ahmed to ensure strict implementation on Drug Act 1976 and take legal action against violators of this act.
It also directed to expedite the on-going campaign against the violators of Drug Act 1976, ensure the frequent supply of life saving drugs in the market and send recommendations to the Ministry of Health in this regard.
