Hifz-o-Qirat contest winners get prizes

As many as 24 winners of 22nd National Hifz-o-Qirat competition, organised by Ministry of Religious Affairs, were awarded cash prizes and certificates at Madina-tul-Hujjaj (Haji Camp) here.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Ijaz-ul-Haq, who was the chief guest on the occasion, gave away cash prizes and certificates among male and female winners of the competition, in which a total 59 Huffaz and Qura participated in eight categories from the four provinces and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
The winners who secured the first three top positions in Category-I are: Hafiz Muhammad Shoaib from NWFP, Qari Nooruddin from Balochistan and Qari Hafiz Kafiatullah from Punjab, respectively.
While Hafiz Muhammad Umar from Islamabad, Hafiz Muhammad Ishfaq from Punjab and Hafiz Muhammad Zahid from NWFP secured the first, second and third position in Category-II, similarly from Category-III Hafiz Fayaz Ahmed from NWFP, Hafiz Noorullah from Balochistan and Hafiz Badiuddin Zaman from Islamabad got the first, second and third position, respectively.
Hazif Muhammad Umar Malik from Islamabad, Hafiz Muhammad Numan from Punjab and Hafiz Kalimullah from Balochistan were declared as winners for the first, second and third position in Category-IV, respectively.
