Three killed in landmine blasts

Three people were killed and four injured in two separate incidents of landmine explosions. According to a report, two people were killed in a landmine explosion in Kandoi area of Dera Bugti on Sunday.
It said that some Kalpar tribesmen were going to Kandoi from Sui. Their pickup hit a landmine in the area. As a result, the pickup was destroyed, and two people, Gul Muhammad and Nawab, were killed on the spot and three others, Khaliq, Gokla and Archer, were wounded. They were taken to PPL Hospital in Sui.
Meanwhile, one person and two camels were killed and one person was injured in another landmine explosion in Arand area, about 35km from Sibi.
A report said that while Lemo Khan and Gul Sher were going on their camels they struck a landmine, which blasted off. As a result, Lemo Khan was killed and Gul Sher was wounded. Both camels were killed. Wounded Gul Sher was removed to Sibi hospital.
ANTI-TANK MINES, ARMS SEIZED:
Security forces seized anti-tank mines and other arms and ammunition in Dera Bugti on Sunday.
The security forces recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition and explosives in Loti gas field, Patokh and Chashma areas of Dera Bugti.
These seized arms and ammunition included anti-tank and other mines.
However, no arrest could be made.
The security forces were attacked with small arms in Sangseela and Chashma area. On retaliation, the attackers escaped.
Meanwhile, the security forces foiled an attempt to blow up a bridge in Tremon area of Kohlu by recovering two landmines.
