The US benchmark cocoa futures contract rallied 2.7 percent Tuesday to the loftiest price in three months, fuelled by a flagging dollar and limited producer selling from West Africa, traders and brokers said.
The New York Board of Trade's active contract for July delivery climbed $41 to settle at $1,563 a tonne, the loftiest since February 10, after trading from $1,520 to $1,565. September cocoa gained $40 to end at $1,582 a tonne and longer-dated cocoa futures finished up $40 to $41.
