Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 124,060 tonnes of cargo including 99,247 tonnes import and 24,813 tonnes export cargo including 4,631 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 82,604 tonnes dry cargo including 56,192 tonnes general cargo; 26,412 tonnes bulk cargo and 41,456 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Four ships sailed out to sea on Friday, while another four vessels are expected to sail on Saturday.
Three ships arrived on Friday, while another seven vessels are due to arrive on Saturday.

The cargo comprised of 48,300 tonnes HSD oil; 8,503 tonnes edible oil; 4,820 tonnes sugar; 1,935 tonnes rice; 10,505 tonnes iron ore and 3,179 tonnes containerised cargo.
Five ships sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of three vessels viz Northern Bell, Keefan and Docomo are currently at the outer anchorage.
