Pak-French Navy exercises concludes

The five-day long Pak-French Navy joint maritime exercise "Bright Star" concluded in the North Arabian Sea on Saturday. This was stated in a press release of the Inter Services Public Relations (Navy) issued here.
It said that Pakistan Navy type-21 frigates, aircraft, submarines conducted joint exercises with French Navy aircraft carrier, frigates and nuclear submarine.
Pakistan Air Force also took part in the exercise and had meaningful interaction with carrier borne aircraft. The exercise further enhanced the interoperability and professional skills of both the navies. It also provided an excellent opportunity of mutual training and learning from each other's experiences.
The ISPR press release further pointed out that Pakistan Navy has always cherished good relations with French Navy to promote professional contacts and strengthen fraternal ties.
Both navies have come a long way and maintained close relations at all levels through joint exercises, training and collaboration in various naval projects, it added.
